This month we supported the West Island Mission de l’Ouest de l’Ile with their Back-to-School event.
Ingrid, our community programs coordinator, selected a whole load of amazing books for all ages. The West Island Mission will be adding these great reads to the backpacks that families pick up as they prepare to go back to school. The books reflect a diversity of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, physical and mental abilities, religion, and culture.
Hopefully, every child that picks up a backpack will find a book that resonates with them.
