Why Set Goals?
For many adults, the demands of life can often come between them and their goals. Finding time to even think about our future and set goals, is for many a difficult thing to do.
So why make time to set goals?
Think about a goal you set recently. Why did you set this goal?
Talk with another person. Tell them about the goal you set. Listen to their goal setting experience.
Together, think about why it was helpful to set this goal?
Make a list of reasons.

- start a new chapter in our lives
- see what is important to us
- give us a sense of purpose
- look for help in the right places
- motivate us
- provide a sense of achievement
- talk with others about what’s important to us
